Although its location is across the river, away from the center of Sevilla, DeÓ has some of the most coveted tables in town. Eating here requires a reservation and you better plan in advance because they tend to fill up. With a menu of thoughtful and creative takes on classic Spanish cuisine and a kitchen that delivers plate after plate surpassing your expectations, it’s no wonder DeÓ is one of Sevilla’s most popular restaurants.
The atmosphere is surprisingly relaxed and welcoming given the quality of food. Service is attentive but not stuffy and DeÓ’s chefs makes the most of fresh ingredients with a passion that shows. As if all of this wasn’t enough to convince you that a meal here is worth going out of your way for, the carefully selected list of wines by the glass or bottle is sure to change your mind. Covering the classics, Rioja for example, the available choices also highlight some of the great wines from the lesser known regions of Spain. If you want to drink and dine like you are at the sort of high-class establishment that leaves your wallet feeling significantly lighter, but find the bill to be surprisingly… cheap, DeÓ should make the top of your list of places to visit in Sevilla.
