Gululu is the place to go for homemade Maltese specialties. Our favorite restaurant on the island, there wasn’t a thing this place was missing. Choose to dine on the seaside patio along St. Julian’s bay or inside where it’s warm and inviting, your meal will be served by a staff that’s well versed in hospitality and the food is sure to be outstanding. While it would be hard to go wrong no matter what you choose to eat, the lamb ftira wins our award for most mouth-watering and the vermicelli omelette will change the way you think about spaghetti. Open continuously, Gululu can cater to your needs if you are in the mood for a quick snack, a hearty meal, or anything in between.

What to Order

  • Froġa tal- għaġin (vermicelli omelette)
  • ftira (Maltese pizza on a base of rustic bread)
  • Torta tal-Fenek (rabbit and vegetable pie)
  • Any of the traditional Maltese dishes, everything we had was delicious!

Note: ftira is only served Monday – Friday from 7pm to 11pm, Sat – Sun served all day
